Daily guided tours through the heritage precinct at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station are a great way to immerse yourself in the history of the Telegraph Station and learn more about the origins of Alice Springs as a town. A visit through the precinct will provide our guests with an opportunity to see, listen, understand and feel the workings of the original Telegraph Station and Post Office. Experience the lives of those who resided and worked in Central Australia’s original settlement and throughout its multiple functions over the centuries – right through to those who work there today!
